Guidelines for Students Timing

General School Rules, Regulations & Consequences

For Parents & Students

1. Students must abide by all school rules and regulations.
2. Entry & Exit Gates:
• Gate 6 – Girls Section
• Gate 5 – Junior Section
• Gate 4 – Boys Section
• Gate 7 – KG Section

Parents with time constraints may drop off their children at Gate 2 between 6:40 AM and 7:00 AM.

Please note that teacher supervision officially begins at 7:00 AM.

1. Dismissal Gates (Car Users):
• Gate 4 – Boys Section
• Gate 6 – Junior Section
• Gate 7 – Girls Section & KG Section
2. Dismissal Time (Grades 1–12):
• Monday–Wednesday: 2:30 p.m. sharp, not later than 3:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 2:00 p.m. sharp, not later than 2:30 p.m.
3. KG Section: Pickup at 1:30 p.m. from Gate 6.
4. Students are not allowed to leave early during the school day unless approved by Admin.
5. Parents are not allowed to accompany students to classrooms (except with medical or disability approval).
6. Three unexcused late arrivals will result in a deduction of behavior marks.
7. Parents/guardians are not allowed inside classrooms, sections, or playgrounds.
8. Missing 15 lessons of any subject in one term (without valid reason) will result in failing that subject.
9. Students using school bus service must be at the pickup point on time; violations may lead to detention.
10. To visit Admin/Reception, students must carry a class pass and permission slip signed by Section In-Charge.
11. Students must follow the School Policy on the portal and Google Classroom.
12. A credit/debit system will be applied to academic performance and behavior.
13. All exams, tests, and quizzes must be signed by parents/guardians.
14. Books, notebooks, and personal property must be kept neat, tidy, and labeled.
15. Prohibited items: Mobile phones, AirPods, radios, fireworks, CDs, unnecessary materials.
16. Bringing mobile phones is strictly prohibited. Any confiscated items will be kept until year-end or collected by guardians.
17. Students are not allowed to leave early or request early pick-up except with prior approval (one day in advance).
18. Students must always be respectful to staff and peers and cooperate with teachers.
19. School Bus Rules:

• Remain seated until dismissal.
• No food or drinks.
• Misbehavior will be reported.
• Bus service may be withdrawn for repeated misconduct.

1. Students must behave appropriately on school premises. Rudeness or antisocial behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Students must attend all scheduled classes, including extra study/exam sessions. Corridor passes are required to leave class.
3. Littering anywhere on school grounds is prohibited.
4. Snacks/drinks are not allowed in classrooms, labs, or the library.
5. Chewing gum is strictly prohibited.
6. No outside food or drinks may be ordered/delivered to school.
7. Students must speak English at all times within school premises, including breaks and trips.
8. Fighting & Rough Behavior

• fighting, wrestling, pushing, or any form of rough behavior is strictly prohibited on school premises, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and buses.
• Such actions can lead to injuries, misunderstandings, or escalation into real conflict.
• Violations will result in immediate disciplinary action, including deduction of behavior marks, detention, or suspension for repeated incidents.

1. Any student who damages school property must pay for repair or replacement.
2. School technology (computers, smartboards, projectors, etc.) must be handled carefully. Any malfunction must be reported immediately.
3. Once placed in a class, students/parents may not request class changes.
4. Parents are not allowed to view CCTV footage unless approved by the Principal.
5. Parents must not use abusive language toward staff or students.
6. The school administration reserves the right to enforce consequences independently of external influence.
7. Students must wear the correct school uniform with the emblem (logo).
8. Strict action will be taken for improper uniforms.
9. Students are not permitted to wear caps, headgear, makeup, or flashy jewelry.
10. Girls must tie back long hair. Boys must maintain a normal haircut (no styles).
11. P.E. uniform with sports shoes must be worn on P.E. days.
12. Students must wear their ID card at all times.
13. Parents must follow school announcements through the school portal and Google Classroom.
14. Official communication must be through school channels only (School Portal Oriosn , Google Classroom, email, telephone, hotline, SMS).
15. Parent–Teacher Meetings: One meeting is held each term to discuss student progress.
16. Parents are not allowed to meet teachers/HOD during school hours without an appointment approved by Admin.
17. Parents and students are expected to participate in school requirements (surveys, forms, circulars, etc.).
18. Weekly Academic Plan

The weekly plan for all subjects and activities will be published every Thursday on the school portal (Orison) or the school website under the “Weekly Plan” tab.

Parents and students are expected to review it regularly to prepare for the upcoming week.

1. Parents must check the weekly academic progress report on the school portal every week from Friday till Sunday .
2. Parents must check the monthly behavior report on the school portal every month  .
3. Continuous Assessment Program ( CAP )

• A daily electronic assessment will be conducted across all core subjects from 7:40 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• Assessments will be administered through Google Classroom and Google Forms.
• The purpose is to monitor ongoing academic progress and strengthen exam readiness.
• Attendance and participation are compulsory. Missing the assessment without a valid reason will result in deduction of academic and behavior marks.

Miscellaneous rules

Academic & Learning Discipline

1. Homework/Assignments: Must be completed on time; late or missing work lowers grades and affects behavior marks.
2. Exams & Assessments: Cheating, copying, or helping others will result in zero marks and parent notification.
3. Plagiarism Policy: Students must submit original work. Copying from internet/books/peers is strictly prohibited.
4. Library Rules: Students must maintain silence, return books on time, and pay fines for lost/damaged books.

 

Classroom Behavior

1. Students must raise their hands to speak; calling out or interrupting lessons is not allowed.
2. Moving between classes must be done quietly and in line; running or shouting in corridors is prohibited.
3. Respect classroom materials (markers, boards, furniture); damage will require repair or replacement.
4. Listening to instructions and following teacher directions immediately is mandatory.

Respect & Anti-Bullying

1. Bullying: Physical, verbal, emotional, or online bullying will result in strict disciplinary action (detention, suspension, or expulsion in serious cases).
2. Respect for Diversity: Discrimination, teasing, or insulting others based on nationality, religion, language, gender, or appearance will not be tolerated.
3. Students must respect others’ personal space and belongings; stealing will result in severe consequences.

Digital Responsibility & Cyber Safety

Use of School Technology

1. Students must use school computers, tablets, and internet only for educational purposes.
2. Accessing social media, gaming, or entertainment websites during school hours is strictly prohibited.
3. Students are not allowed to download, install, or delete any programs or applications without teacher approval.
4.  Passwords, accounts, and personal logins must be kept confidential and may not be shared with others.
5. Students are strictly prohibited from attempting to open, access, or hack into another student’s account or school systems. Such actions will result in serious disciplinary consequences.
6. Any form of cyberbullying, misuse of school devices, or inappropriate online activity will result in disciplinary action, including suspension of technology privileges.
7. Students must immediately report any malfunction, suspicious activity, or inappropriate content to their teacher or IT department.
8. Unauthorized use of social media during school hours is forbidden.
9. Taking photos or videos of staff/students without permission is prohibited.
10. Sharing offensive content (online or offline) will result in serious disciplinary action.

Health & Safety

1. Dangerous items (knives, matches, lighters, sharp objects, laser pointers, etc.) are strictly banned.
2. Rough play, pushing, or running in unsafe areas is not allowed.
3. Fire drills and safety procedures must be followed seriously without misbehavior.
4. Students must report any accident, injury, or unsafe activity to teachers immediately.

School Environment & Discipline

1.  Students must stand respectfully during assemblies and the national anthem.
2. Graffiti, vandalism, or writing on walls/furniture will require cleaning, repair, and behavior penalties.
3. Students may not stay on campus after school hours unless involved in supervised activity.
4. Food must be eaten only in designated areas; throwing food or wasting it is prohibited.
5. Loud noises, shouting, or playing music in hallways is not allowed.

Extracurricular & Responsibility

1. Students in leadership positions (Class Monitors, Student Council) must set a positive example.
2. Misuse of school badges, roles, or authority will lead to removal from position.
3. Participation in school activities (competitions, trips, sports) requires good behavior and academic standing.
4. School trips require students to follow instructions, remain in groups, and show exemplary conduct.

Parent & Student Engagement

1. Parents and students must regularly check the school portal, Google Classroom, and email for updates.
2. Students are expected to participate actively in surveys, forms, and activities that support school improvement.

Academic & Learning

1. Daily Preparedness: Students must bring all required materials (books, notebooks, stationery, devices ) every day.
2. Class Participation: Students are expected to actively participate in lessons, discussions, and group work.
3. Catch-up Work: Absent students must check school portal/Google Classroom for missed lessons and complete pending work.
4. Respect for Deadlines: Late submission of assignments is only accepted with valid excuse; otherwise, marks are deducted.
5. Extra Support: Students who consistently fail to submit work or perform poorly may be assigned after-school study sessions.

Behavior & Discipline

1. Respect for Staff & Authority: Students must stand up and greet teachers and visitors entering the classroom.
2. Noise Control: Silence must be observed in hallways during class hours.
3. Respect for Younger Students: Older students must serve as role models and not bully or disturb juniors.

Safety & Security

9. Restricted Areas: Students are not allowed in parking lots, staff rooms, labs, or storage areas without permission.

1. School Trips: Misbehavior during school trips may result in removal from future trips and extracurriculars.
2. Medication: Students requiring medication during school hours must submit doctor’s note and medicine to the school nurse.
3. Emergency Contact: Parents must keep the school updated with current phone numbers and addresses.
4. Evacuation Drills: Students must take fire/earthquake drills seriously and follow staff instructions promptly.

Digital Responsibility

15. Online Behavior: Students must use respectful language in school emails, Google Classroom, and chat platforms.

1. Passwords: Students must not share school account passwords with others.
2. Recording Policy: Taking photos/videos of teachers, students, or classrooms without permission is strictly forbidden.
3. Gaming & Entertainment: Playing games or streaming during school hours is prohibited.
4. AI & Technology Use: Students must not use AI tools, translators, or apps for cheating in assignments or exams.

Uniform & Presentation

20. Personal Hygiene: Students must come to school clean, with trimmed nails and proper grooming.

1. Shoes: Only school-approved footwear is allowed; slippers/sandals are not permitted.
2. Jewelry: Only small, simple studs for girls are allowed; boys may not wear earrings.
3. Winter Uniform: Jackets/sweaters must be school-approved; outside hoodies or coats are not permitted.
4. PE Days: Students must change into PE uniform before class (if policy applies), not wear it all day.

Parent Responsibilities

1. Punctual Pickup: Parents must pick up students promptly at dismissal times.
2. School Fees: Tuition and fees must be paid on time; outstanding balances may block report cards.
3. Parent Conduct: Shouting at staff, arguing in front of students, or creating disturbances is strictly prohibited.
4. Doctor’s Notes: Parents must provide a medical report if a student is absent for more than three consecutive days.
5. Homework Support: Parents must monitor homework and ensure assignments are completed on time.
